Greater Curtin is a transformation of Curtin’s main campus in Perth. Robert Gordon University (RGU) is a dynamic, modern place to study with an international reputation for providing high quality education from undergraduate through to PhD level. The University of Liverpool is one of the UK’s leading research institutions with an annual turnover of £465 million, including £89 million for research. Ranked in the top 1% of higher education institutions worldwide, Liverpool is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of the UK’s leading research universities. The University has 31,000 students, 7,700 of whom travel from all over the world to study here, and 195,000 alumni in 200 countries. Its global focus has led the institution to establish a university in Suzhou near Shanghai, in partnership with Xi’an Jiaotong University, as well as a campus in London. 24,000 students from over 80 countries are enrolled at Birmingham City University, making it an exciting and diverse place to study. A significant proportion of undergraduate courses enjoy professional accreditation, including Accountancy, Acting, Architecture, Education, Engineering, Law, Marketing, Nursing, Radiography and Social Work. The University is also conveniently placed, with Birmingham International Airport nearby and easy road and rail links to London, Manchester and the rest of the UK. Birmingham City University has a large number of part-time students enrolled, making it the largest provider of undergraduate study in the area. In addition, the University has increased its portfolio of high-tech degrees in recent years, with a particular focus on electronic commerce, network engineering and electronic systems. Birmingham City University is one of the top 30 universities in the UK for spending on facilities, and in the most recent National Student Survey, 83% of students were happy with their course, while 87% agreed that faculty staff were good at explaining classes and teaching.
The University of Brighton was formed as Brighton Polytechnic in 1968 by the merging of Brighton College of Technology and Brighton College of Art and was awarded full university status in 1992. The University is a community of over 20,000 students across five campuses in Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings, on the south coast of England. The University of Brighton has one of the best teaching quality ratings in the UK and focuses on professional education in areas such as Pharmacy, Engineering, Medicine and Nursing. In recent years Brighton has moved its focus onto employability, with career planning and development built into each degree at the university. Nearly all degrees at the University of Brighton include a work placement or sandwich year, showing potential employers you have experience working in your chosen field, and also giving the student an insight into what the career requires.
Brunel University London is located in Uxbridge, north-west London, and is one of the UK’s most ambitious, forward-looking universities, with a strong focus on employability after graduation. Currently home to just under 15,000 students from over 100 countries, Brunel graduates currently benefit from the 13th highest starting salaries upon graduation in the UK. Almost all courses are available as a four year ‘sandwich’, with one year’s work placement before graduation, while over £400 million worth of investment has recently been completed to create an exciting state-of-the-art campus providing students with world class teaching, social and sport facilities. The campus is within walking distance of the London underground, just a short 20-minute ride into the city. An Airport Welcome Service at Heathrow will help students find Brunel at the start of the academic year.
City, University of London is located in Islington, north London, with other campuses located around the city. The University was founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute and was awarded full university status in 1966. It established the first aeronautical laboratory in the UK 100 years ago and now runs the world’s largest Master’s course for the air transport industry. City, University of London has one of the highest proportions of postgraduate students of any UK university. Most of the courses at undergraduate level include a work placement, offering a fantastic opportunity for students to gain work experience while they study. City, University of London has 18,000 students from over 160 countries enrolled, while teaching staff are drawn from over 40 international locations. Around 30% of the University’s undergraduate and postgraduate students come from outside the EU, representing one of the highest proportions of international students in the UK.
This exhibition has changed my life. It gave me an opportunity to get the best student experience and art education in the UK. While studying in Cambridge I used to volunteer as a student representative and work as a product designer at the local design company. It has helped me to open my own interior design company called Eden Design.
